Toshiba has set out to challenge the notion that if you work with media you’ll want to use a Mac. The 15.6-inch ultra-high definition display is designed to offer natural color, with the screen itself calibrated by Chroma Tune and certified by Technicolour. If you want the most true-to-life colors available, then the Toshiba Satellite P50-B is a must. The insanely high resolution and attention to detail when it comes to color reproduction means that the P50-B is ideal for professional photographers and digital artists too. That doesn’t mean that if you’re not a professional there’s nothing here for you. The screen is also fantastic at displaying films and TV shows, and with Harman Kardon stereo speakers and DTS Sound audio enhancement the Satellite P50-B is also a phenomenal laptop when it comes to movies and music. Toshiba Satellite P50-B with superb color reproduction laptop is currently one of the 4K laptop in 2015. </div>

A particularly cool feature is that you don’t even need to turn on the laptop to make use of the fantastic Harman Kardon speakers – simply plug in an MP3 player full of your favorite tunes and you’re good to go. Powering all of this is a hefty Intel Core i7 processor, AMD Radeon R9 M265X Enthusiast Graphics for incredible gaming performance and up to 16GB of RAM. You also get a huge 1TB of space, again essential for photographers, digital artists and media professionals, and you can give Windows a speed boost with an 8GB SS D. It might not  be quite as nippy as some  of the other laptops on test here, but in return you get a lot more storage space. All of this is wrapped up in an attractive aluminum chassis that weighs 2.3kg. It’s not the thinnest laptop, with a thickness of 27.9mm, but it still looks fantastic.<br />

<b>A Customizable, No-nonsense Laptop But Not the Most Powerful</b><br />
Lenovo might not be the first name that springs to mind when you think about gaming laptops, with the company better known for its no-nonsense business laptops. However, Lenovo has been making a decent name for itself with its Yoga line. As the name suggests, the Y50 4K brings a stunning 4K display to the Yoga line with a lovely 15.6-inch screen. A 256GB SS D, 2.4GHz Intel Core i7 4700HQ processor and 16GB of RAM keeps Windows 8.1 ticking over nicely. Sadly, the UK version of the Lenovo Y50 Touch 4K does not come with a touchscreen as it does in the US . However, using a touchscreen at 4K resolution can sometimes end up as a frustrating war of attrition between chubby fingers and pixel-perfect accuracy, so maybe it’s not all that bad that we’re not getting the touchscreen option on these shores. The bold, angular design with a red backlit keyboard is a world away from Lenovo’s rather uninspired ThinkPad laptops, and it makes it clear that the Y50 is a laptop with gaming in mind. It’s a shame that the Y50 isn’t quite as good as the MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 4K-080, as it comes with an ageing graphics card that doesn’t quite cut it when playing the latest games at 4K resolution. Unlike MSI’s offering, the Y50’s keyboard isn’t especially designed for gaming either. Lenovo Y50 4K is rich in specifications and can be surely one of the best 4K laptops of 2015 with lots of customizations.</div>

It certainly wasn’t easy, nor cheap, and that means you’ll have to pay for the privilege of owning one – £555, to be precise. At that price you can have pretty much any other top smartphone on the market<br />
right now, from the iPhone 6 and HTC One (M8) to the Sony Xperia Z3 and LG G3. The E-Ink panel has its own lock screen (AKA the YotaCover) with counters for the number of new calls, texts, emails and other notifications you’ve received. When a new text or email comes through you can view a pop-up revealing its contents without having to even touch the device. This is great for a quick glance down at the phone sitting on your desk, and allows you to decide if it’s worth picking it up and responding or carrying on with what you’re doing. You can even respond to a text from the monochrome display, with the Android keyboard popping up and enabling you to tap out a message although there is a short delay between hitting a key and the character displaying on screen. If you fancy more information than just simple notification updates, you’ll need to switch to the home screen view, known here as YotaPanels. These are customizable screens that enable you to stick a range of widgets, contacts and app shortcuts front and center.</div>
